A new approach to criminal law

Emerson de Pieri has a degree in legal sciences and specializations from The Wharton School and McGill University. He has 40 years’ experience in the financial market, starting his career at Bradesco and working at institutions such as Credit Lyonnais, Merrill Lynch, Hottinger Group and Siemens.

He is currently Board President of the Latin Bankers Association (www.latinbankers.com) and Member of the Board of Haliwell Financial Group. In non-financial activities, he is a senior consultant at Lee Hetch Harrisson (www.lhh.com), founder and maintainer of Brazil Business Friends (www.bbfnet.org), trustee of Kuara Brasil (www.kuarabrasil.org).

At the age of 24, he was elected Financial Highlight by Folha de São Paulo, for the Market Niches project at Banco Nacional. He was also elected “The Best Banker LatAm” by Terrapin Group for four consecutive years.
